Terms and Conditions for Alarm Masters Corp

1. Introduction
Alarm Masters Corporation ("AMC," "we," "us") provides security and fire alarm systems and services to residential and commercial customers.

2. Acceptance of Terms
You accept these Terms when you sign a proposal, confirm by email, issue a purchase order ("PO"), or allow us to begin work. Any PO terms that conflict with these Terms do not apply.

3. Services Offered
We offer security and fire alarm sales, system design, installation, maintenance, inspection, and monitoring.

4. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel within three business days after you sign, at no cost, by giving us written notice. After that, you are responsible for work we have already performed and for any materials or equipment we have ordered for your project, including any restocking charges.

5. Warranty
Our work and materials are warranted for 90 days against defects under normal use. We will repair or replace any defective work or materials, and that is your sole remedy under this warranty.

6. Payment Terms
 - Proposal-based work: Payment is due on the schedule in the proposal or PO.
 - Time and material work: If you proceed after we have communicated our rates, you accept those rates.
 - Invoices: Payment is due 15 calendar days from the invoice date.
 - Late payment: Any payment more than 10 days past due accrues simple interest at 18% per year (1.5% per month), or the maximum rate allowed by law if lower, until paid in full. We may also charge a $5 late fee each month the balance remains unpaid.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
WE ARE NOT AN INSURER, AND YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CARRYING YOUR OWN INSURANCE. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE WORK THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PRE-EXISTING OR CONCEALED CONDITIONS, OR FOR WORK OR EQUIPMENT BY OTHERS.

8. Claims
You must notify us in writing within 30 days of discovering an issue with our work and give us a chance to correct it.

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Texas law. Any dispute must be brought in Harris County, Texas.

10. Intellectual Property
All designs, materials, and programming we provide remain our property until they are paid for in full.

11. Amendments
We may update these Terms with advance notice.

12. Signed Agreements
A signed agreement between you and Alarm Masters Corporation covering the same work supersedes these Terms and controls to the extent of any conflict.
